All ready to go from Clyde Marina. Towards the Mull of Kintyre over the North Channel and through the ripping tides under Rathlin Island to Portrush and around the the wild, remote and exposed NW Coast of Ireland

The strong tides, northwesterly wind and large swells hitting the inexorable cliffs of North West Ireland makes for tough sailing. It's more than worth the effort, remote anchorages in gorgeous, wild surroundings give us that 'worlds end' feeling. Mid summer and not one other yacht sighting for 5 days until we reach Teelin.
