Launch day has arrived...

After 3 months in the Fox's workshop the day has finally arrived when Moana goes back into the water. It's been a very exciting day watching the final touches being made to the hull, bowthruster and propeller before the launch at midday on 16th July.

There's still plenty of work to do before She is ready to leave Ipswich, but this feels like the real beginning of our adventures with her.

The mast will be fitted again on Wednesday (18th July) and then the rigging needs to be 'tuned' at the dock followed by sea trials in a good breeze to tighten things up and carry out any final checks.

There's another 10 days or so before everything is shipshape and Bristol fashion!
